Our first “Girls’ and Boys’ Day” 2026 was a great success and offered a total of three pupils a valuable opportunity to gain practical insights into the world of work.

On the day of the event, participants were welcomed by a diverse program ranging from interactive workshops and a company tour to personal conversations with professionals from various fields.

The active involvement of the young participants was particularly well received. Instead of purely theoretical presentations, the focus was on hands-on experience: pupils were able to get involved themselves, ask questions, and explore their own interests. This created an authentic insight into everyday working life that went far beyond theoretical knowledge.

For us, Girls and Boys Day proved to be a valuable platform. We took the opportunity to present career paths and to establish early contact with potential future talent. All colleagues reported highly engaged and curious students who showed great interest and motivation. The highlight was building and soldering an alarm clock in the shape of a robot. The three pupils also provided great support when assembling and packing real components.

Another important aspect of Future Day remains the promotion of equal opportunities. The day encourages young people to explore different career fields independently of gender roles and to discover new paths.

The consistently positive feedback from participants shows that Future Day 2026 achieved its goals. It strengthens career orientation, sparks interest, and creates important connections between school and the working world.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and are already looking forward to the next Future Day!
