On August 30th, 2026, three sports-enthusiastic colleagues took on the challenge of the Göttingen Triathlon. All participants successfully completed the demanding combination of a 500-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run with great dedication and impressive performances.
The first athletes started their race day at 10:00 a.m. After the swimming segment in the outdoor pool, the varied cycling course took participants through the Göttingen region before the final running section led them to the finish line at Jahnstadion. Despite the physical demands of the event, the atmosphere remained excellent throughout the entire day.
Numerous spectators along the course and in the stadium created a fantastic atmosphere. Jahnstadion was bustling with activity: the organizers had arranged a variety of food trucks to cater to visitors, while a bouncy castle, trampoline, and other attractions provided great entertainment, especially for younger guests.
One by one, the athletes crossed the finish line at Jahnstadion, where they were welcomed with enthusiastic applause and motivating announcements from the event commentator. The AES team achieved remarkable results in the triathlon (30th place in the team ranking), once again demonstrating team spirit, endurance, and sporting ambition.
