Our company team at the Old Town Run: team spirit, endurance, and lots of good cheer
On July 2, 2025, it was that time again: this year’s Old Town Run transformed Göttingen’s historic city center into a vibrant running track—and our company team was right in the middle of it! With great motivation, sporting ambition, and plenty of team spirit, we took to the starting line and showed that we are not only a strong team in our everyday work.
Strong together – even on the running track
A total of 10 employees from various departments took part in the traditional city run. Whether as recreational runners or ambitious athletes, every participant completed the course with flying colors. The results were impressive. Our fastest runner came in 30th place out of 1,181 participants, and we even came in 23rd place in the team rankings – simply fantastic. What was particularly nice was that colleagues and partners came along to cheer us on and created a great atmosphere along the route.
Ending the day together at Sausalitos
After the sporting part of the day, we ended the evening together at Sausalitos. With cool drinks, delicious food, and a great atmosphere, we not only toasted our personal best times – team spirit was once again the focus. In a relaxed atmosphere, we were able to review the day and celebrate our sporting results together. The evening was the perfect end to an all-round successful team event.
A sporting highlight worth repeating
The Old Town Run was a complete success! We are proud of everyone who took part – whether on the course, at the side of the course, or in the organization. The team spirit and positive energy that this day brought with it will continue to have an impact for a long time to come.
We can well imagine being there again next year – and maybe our team will grow even further! 😉
